Montanas del Fuego III
Hier nochmal im Detail. Die Feuerberge im Nationalpark von Timanfaya. Am 1. September 1730 brachen hier die Vulkane aus. Viele Dörfer wurde von Lavaströmen oder Asche verschüttet. Die neisten Einwohner flüchteten nach Gran Canaria. Diese Ausbrüche dauerten sechs Jahre lang. Fast 100 Jahre später, 1824, gab es noch einmal kleinere Ausbrüche. 11/2004
